Summer has started, and so has CAMP TV! Praised by parents, kids, and critics alike, CAMP TV returns to screens nationwide this summer to bring children an engaging and dynamic learning experience. First airing in the summer of 2020 to provide an accessible camp experience, CAMP TV continues its mission of making summer learning programs available through public television collaboration.
Consisting of ten half-hour episodes, the fourth season of CAMP TV premieres on July 10, with episodes airing on weekdays at 9 a.m. on WSBE Rhode Island PBS.
This season, actress, singer, and dancer Nzingha “Zing” Ashford is the head counselor. She’ll guide campers ages 5-10 as they explore the arts, movement, science, writing, math, cooking, and popular field trip locations.
Each episode begins with Zing announcing the day’s theme: Ice Cream Day, Tropical Day, Bubble Day, Polka Dot Day, Penguin Day, Kid Inventor Day, Compliment Day, Slipper Day, Rain Day, and Scary-ish Day.
To provide unique segments for each episode, experts and teaching artists from leading educational and cultural institutions across the nation return as partners.

Each episode concludes with a story time segment featuring young readers from public television stations around the country.

Blow snake bubbles, learn about horseshoe crabs, and make cheesy eggs and comics.
July 13 at 9 a.m. - Polka Dot Day
Make a pointillism painting and tea party food, exercise in patterns, and meet a lynx.
July 14 at 9 a.m. - Penguin Day
Learn about penguins and propellers, take a waddling challenge, and make backpack buddies.
July 17 at 9 a.m. - Kid Inventor Day
Learn about real kid inventors and how to juggle; make a rubber band-powered boat.
July 18 at 9 a.m. - Compliment Day
Make compliment cards, do a marshmallow tower challenge, and learn about right angles.
July 19 at 9 a.m. - Slipper Day
Make origami finger slippers, a flip book, and popcorn; learn about perimeter and magnets.
July 20 at 9 a.m. - Rain Day
Make a rain stick, meet a corroboree frog, and practice a yoga tree pose.
July 21 at 9 a.m. - Scary-ish Day
Make giant googly eyes, sheet pans nachos, and a heatless lava lamp; meet a Komodo dragon.
