The Rhode Island PBS Passport catalog grows even larger this month, as nearly 3,000 titles from American Public Television (APT) have been added to the on-demand streaming platform. A one-stop digital collection of PBS favorites, Rhode Island PBS Passport is a member benefit that provides instant, exclusive access to quality PBS programming.
Over the next 18 months, several 300-500 episode collections will be made available in periodic releases to Passport members. Current APT-distributed properties available in Passport include Rick Steves’ Europe, The Best of the Joy of Painting with Bob Ross and the international dramedy The Indian Doctor.
Available this month, Rhode Island PBS Passport members will be able to stream the latest seasons of popular cooking series like America’s Test Kitchen from Cook’s Illustrated, Cook's Country, Simply Ming, Pati’s Mexican Table, Christopher Kimball’s Milk Street Television, and Lidia’s Kitchen; military and historical documentary films like Day of Days: June 6, 1944; and travel series like Real Rail Adventures, Rick Steves’ Best of the Alps, and Rick Steves’ Europe Awaits.
Expected future releases — which include additional food and travel titles, home and gardening series, documentary specials, public affairs programming, dramas, comedies, and concert performances — are planned for late November 2021, March 2022, June 2022, August 2022, late November 2022 and March 2023.
