This inspirational film follows Eva Mozes Kor, an 85-year-old peace activist, public speaker, and Auschwitz survivor who spent years after liberation doing the unthinkable - forgiving the perpetrators of the Holocaust. Despite being subjected to the unspeakable horrors of a Nazi concentration camp, she turned trauma into a transcendent message, making it her life’s mission to promote hope, healing, and self-empowerment around the world. Eva: A-7063 is a story of relentless courage and fearless compassion that still resonates today.
What Will Become of Us- April 21 at 8 p.m.
For many Armenians, the “long shadow” of genocide clouds the past and makes for an uncertain future. But as generations pass, a new community rises from the ashes and regains some measure of the culture that was lost. What Will Become of Us follows several Armenian Americans - famous and otherwise - as they reckon with the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide and strive to forge a lasting identity. A relatable story for all immigrant communities that have faced past horrors, this is not a film about genocide, but how to thrive despite it.
